Meftih Enterprise,
a Toronto-based newspaper, English, Tigrigna and Arabic Translation Center,
was launched in September 2004. It was the first Tigrigna, English and
Arabic
newspaper to make a difference to the Eritrean diaspora. The emphasis is on Eritrean-Canadian life and Eritrean-American news and trends, but the Eritrean diaspora in other parts of the world is also covered in considerable depth. In February 2005, Meftih launched its bilingual paper on the world wide web. Since its inception, the paper has been distributed free of charge. |
